A sister afghan to Queen of Hearts, this same theme has been reworked, this time in denim yarn. I have returned to a favourite motif, the heart, with its connotations of warmth, affection and the home. It is immediately recognisable and capable of many adaptions. In this design I have used this concept to establish a feeling of ease and well-being.

For the blanket

• 20 x 50g balls dark denim blue
• 20 x 50g balls mid denim blue
• 22 x 50g balls light denim blue

For the edging

• 1 1/5 x 50g ball mid denim blue
• 1 1/5 x 50g ball light denim blue
• 1 1/5 x 50g ball dark denim blue
