Crochet Pattern: Denver Headband

The Denver Headband is a simple pattern with a beautiful texture that will keep your head warm during colder months. To make this pattern you will work in rows and use half double crochet, double crochet, chain stitch and puff stitch.

The headband shown in the pattern is made using chunky weight yarn but the pattern also includes instructions for making it in aran weight and DK weight yarn.

YARN OPTIONS & YARDAGES REQUIRED
DK weight: 120 yds (110 m)
Aran weight: 120 yds (110 m)
Chunky weight: 109 yds (100 m)
Note: If using chunky yarn please pay attention to the yarn that you select as it comes in different thicknesses. I recommend choosing one that is on the lighter end of chunky weight.

TOOLS NEEDED
Hook size USA G-6 (metric 4mm) if using DK weight yarn
Hook size USA H-8 (metric 5mm) if using aran weight yarn
Hook size USA J-10 (metric 6mm) if using chunky weight yarn
Scissors & darning needle

FINISHED SIZE
Approx. 4.5” (12 cm) height, stretches to fit 21-23” head circumference.
