The Deviant Mitts are the perfect combination of geometric fun and witchy vibes. This unisex pattern is perfect for the Fall evenings, and even into Winter!!
As makers, it’s great to have access to our fingers even when it’s cold, and these mitts make it possible.
For the everyday wearer, it’s perfect for keeping your hands warm, while still having access to touch screen and your smart devices!!
Details :
(Smaller needle) Ribbing: US size 2.5/ 3 mm on DPN’s.
(Larger needle) Colorwork stockinette stitch: US size 5/ 3.75 mm on DPN’s.
(Or needles to obtain gauge)
Note: the Ribbing size needle should be around 2 sizes smaller than the Larger needle when gauge is met.
Gauge : 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm worked in colorwork stockinette st in the round on Larger needles.
Finished sizes: S, (M): 7.5 (8.5)” / 7 (8) cm circumference. These mitts are designed to be worn with -1 to 1” / -2.5 to 2.5 cm of ease.
Yarn Used:
DK weight: 246 yards/225 meters to 100 grams.
MC: 98 (120) yards
CC: 76 (100) yards
Notions :
Set of five DPN’s in coordinating sizes, darning needle, unique stitch marker to indicate beginning of round, 2 additional markers for thumb gusset.
Notes : Sample shown is in size S with approx. 1” / 2.5 cm of negative ease.
