Devonshire Beanie
A cute beanie with an unusual construction method: First the cable band is worked from side to side and joined in the round, then stitches are picked up on either side of the band to work the ribbed brim and the crown in Stockinette Stitch. If desired, a pompom embellishes the beanie.

S, M and L to fit head circumference of approximately 41.75 (45.5, 51) cm 16.5 (18, 20)”. Height results in 19 (19.5, 20) cm 7.5 (7.75, 8”) when worked as written in the pattern, adjustable.

Used in the sample: Lang Yarns Cashmere Light in colourway Champagne, 3 (3, 4) balls
5 mm / US size 8 DPNs or circular needle(s), for your preferred way to knit in the round
Cable needle, 9 (10, 11) stitch markers, darning needle, waste yarn, crochet hook in a suitable size for provisional cast on
Optional: Faux fur pom-pom or material for pom-pom making from yarn
