Dewette Cowl
FiberWild! is proud to present Amy Zimmerman’s Dewette Cowl!
This is the second published pattern by our own Amy Zimmerman - better known here in the office as Vera (we already had an Amy). An accomplished knitter and crocheter in her own right, Amy’s a self-described history nerd with a penchant for deciphering antique patterns.
This pattern is currently available exclusively through the Dewette Cowl Kit at FiberWild.com.
Like a pair of melodies, the Dewette Cowl blends two colors to create a chorus of harmonious hues while keeping you warm! Worked in connecting rounds in simple moss stitch, drops of color blend in and out of each other like light in early morning dew. A delicate lace design accents one edge giving this cowl a cozy border.
Finished Size: Approximately 21” circumference and 12” long, after blocking.
Gauge: 29 stitches over 4” in pattern stitch, after blocking.
Hook: G (4.00 mm), or size to obtain gauge.
