Diamond Lace Bookmark
This is a great little pattern for leftover yarn from larger lace projects. It’s a relatively simple and quick knit for anyone looking for a last-minute gift.
I stiffened this up a little bit using a water + cornstarch mixture. I ended up mixing the starch in cold water and then sticking it in the microwave in increments of 5 seconds until it was nice and pasty. I spread it on the bookmark using paper towels to soak up the excess and then let it dry.
Suggestion for blocking: In place of blocking wires, small double-pointed or straight needles can be used along with a few pins.
