This is an elegant shrug, with a diamond lace design, it can be worn on a nice summers day or ideal to jazz up an outfit for an evening event. I have given the instructions for the sizes 32-54” (80-137cm) but also how to customise the pattern to fit your exact size as we all don’t have bodies that fit into standard sizes.

This design can be knitted in plain or variegated yarn, and a mixture of different yarn bases will work with the design. I choose Yarn Garden ‘Manna ash’ as it is a mix of superwash merino and silk, a beautiful combination and it creates a lovely soft silky shrug.
