Diamond River Beanie
A beautiful Tunisian Crochet Beanie which features lace diamonds and contrasting ribbing, worked seamlessly in-the-round.
This beanie is worked from the bottom up and is worked in-the-round without any seams
The same colour (MC) is used for the Return yarn throughout. For the Forward Pass, the MC is used for the lace body of the beanie, and the CC is used for the ribbing. When you work the ribbing, the MC yarn will show throungh the stitches in the CC to create the ribbing effect.
Lace diamonds feature all around the beanie, and gradually decrease in size to shape the top of the beanie.
This pattern is part of the Diamond River Collection of Tunisian Crochet patterns, which includes the Diamond River Shawl and Diamond River Socks

SIZES
For sizes S-M and M-L
Circumference unstretched = 53/58.5cm, 20.9/23 inches
Height = 20.3cm, 8 inches
MATERIALS
• Either 3.0mm or 3.5mm Double-ended Tunisian Crochet Hook for working the ribbing (my testers found that the ribbing laid better if it was made with a smaller size hook than what was used for the lace, use whichever size you need depending on your gauge)
• 4.0mm Double-ended Tunisian Crochet Hook for working the lace body of the beanie
• 1 Stitch Marker to mark the beginning of the round
• 2 colours of Sock/Fingering/4-ply Yarn in 3 sections (Approximately 118/132 yards in the Main Colour for the Forward Pass, approximately 130/145 yards in the Main Colour for the Return, approximately 33/37 yards in the Contrasting Colour for the contrasting ribbed brim)
• Yarn Needle to closing the top of the beanie and weave in ends
• Elastic Thread (optional) to weave thought the brim for a tighter fit
