This clever cardigan employs an unusual construction; the log cabin “diamond” is worked first, then stitches are picked up along the sides of the diamond to work either front. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and collar, which are worked in the round, making this an entirely seamless undertaking!

It is very easy to adjust the pattern for larger sizes, and tips for achieving a perfect fit when upsizing are included. The 4-page PDF also includes a handy chart to reference while working the log cabin, making this a great introduction to log cabin knitting!
