Diamonds In The Rough Ruana was created to be an all seasons piece. You can wear it in the Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter and it is the perfect layering piece. The diamond detail makes for an interesting but not difficult pattern. This is the perfect pattern for a night of knitflixing!

This pattern is knit double stranded.

Pattern is worked from back to front.

One size fits most, pattern also includes options for a longer and shorter version of the Ruana.

Materials

• Approximately 1300-1500 Yards of DK weight category 3 yarn (I used Cascade Yarns, Ultra Pima Cotton in color no. 3717)

• US size 11 (8.0 mm) straight or circular needles. This pattern works best with 24” or 29” circular needles

• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

• Scissors
