A stylish beret style tam with a cabled diamond pattern against a moss stitch background.

This hat is one size fits most, with an unstretched band circumference of approximately 18 inches, which can be adjusted for fit. It is designed to “set” on the head with a jaunty side dip.

The hat takes approximately 160 to 200 yards of a light worsted weight yarn, and is knit in one piece using circular or double pointed needles.

The sample was knit using Araucania Hurasco Worsted, and used 180 yards, including pom pom.

This is a companion piece to the Diamonds on Moss Cowl and the Diamonds on Moss Fingerless Mitts.
