Once you learn to read charts, many stitch motifs become easier to work. Here, an allover pattern can be worked from a chart or from the row-by-row instructions, but the pattern repeat is easier to see in chart form.

Yarn Weight 3
Finished Size 9” wide and 7 ½ “ tall.
Yarn Brown Sheep Company Cotton Fleece (80% cotton, 20% merino wool; 215 yd 197 m/3 ½ oz 100 g): #CW725 buttercream, 1 skein.
Needles Size 6 (4 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Tapestry needle.
Gauge 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Diamond patt.
