Dicotyledon Mitts
Signaling the arrival of spring, the first leaves of seedlings begin to show themselves. The first two tiny leaves are called the dicotyledons (or dicots). In these simple mitts, the Broderie Anglaise on the backs of the hands add a subtle element of interest, the two elongated stitches bringing to mind the tiny leaves of a newly sprouting plant on the first warm days of spring.
