Dido
5 for 4 – if you buy any 5 Åsa Tricosa patterns at the same time you get the least expensive one for free.
This pattern was created to raise money for p/hop.
CLARIFICATION of the chart symbol {/}: k2tog on RS, p2tog on WS
You can download the pattern at p/hop in return for a donation -- as large or small as you see fit and can manage -- to MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders).
-
The rectangular stole (top 2 photos) is worked in two halves and grafted in the middle (Or not! Can be knitted in one long piece if grafting seems scary).
-
The border is knitted first. Body stitches for the stole are picked up along one edge of the border.
-
Edges are knitted simultaneously with the body
-
Scarf (green) is knitted in one piece, starting out from a border. The second border is knitted on.
-
The lace patterns are charted
-
Gauge is not important and the one given is approximate (and better described as 1.5 pattern repeats wide and 2 repeats high).
