This is the Doubleface Version of my Pattern Stranded in Damascus.
The pattern is 100% perfect for a double face shawl.
You should know the basics of double face, or be prepared to look them up.
There are photographic step-by-step explanations for increases and bind-off included in the pattern.
You can make this shawl in any size you wish, it depends on you how many pattern repeats you wish to knit.
- Choose a light yarn and swatch!
It’s not for gauge really, but you will need surprisingly small needles to achieve a fabric where the backside doesn’t shine through, and you still want it to feel light and airy.
