Dingsda means “thingy” in German. I thought this would be a great name for this fun little accessory. Dingsda is knit in the round on circular needles.
Size: 54”/137 cm circumference, 6”/ 10 cm width stretched
Yarn: Fingering weight yarn – approx.100 yds/90 m of color 1 (light color yarn in sample) & approx. 200 yds/180 m of color 2 (dark color yarn in sample)
Sample was knit using Berocco Ultra Alpaca Fine which gives the accessory a nice halo.
Gauge: 20 sts & 34 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking
Needles: U.S. 6 (4 mm) circular 24” or 32’’ needle use the size needles that gets gauge
Notions: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle
