Knit a trio of prehistoric pals, with Pat Apatosaurus, Trevor Triceratops, and Sally Stegosaurus.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Stylecraft Special Double Knit; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/295m skein in each shade.


NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, domed black half shank buttons for eyes, 2-hole 15mm buttons for the leg joints and a doll making sewing needle plus embroidery floss to sew on buttons.

SIZES:
One size only - Largest sizes are Triceratops and Stegosaurus 26cm long (nose to tail) and Apatosaurus 22cm tall (top of head to toes).

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
