Dinosaur balaclava
by Sirdar
A child’s balaclava with triangular dinosaur scales fixed to the back of the head and neck. The two yarns above are alternatives, but Sirdar snuggly snowflake chunky could be substituted. This pattern possibly dates from the 1980s or 90s.
Required:
2 x 50g of recommended yarn
Straight 5.5mm needles
Straight 5mm needles
Stitch holders
The construction is modular, including picking up sts and seaming. The source pattern leaflet includes one basic balaclava and five optional additions (cat ears, dog ears, rabbit ears, teddy ears and dino scales) to be knitted separately and attached to the balaclava.
There is no chart.
