Disco Ball
A round shiny ball spinning on top and reflecting colorful lights with the cube mirrors on its body. It is spreading joy to people while they are dancing and having fun. Disco Ball is a beanie constructed with Check stitch to replicate this shiny ball, using this colorful yarn.
Materials: 1 skein Gusto Olio, shown in #2308 in next photo
Sizes: 1 (2, 3) with 17.5 (19.5, 22)” / 44.5 (49.5, 56) cm circumference to fit 18-21 (21-23, 23-25)“ / 45.5-53.5 (53.5-58.5, 58.5-63.5) cm of head circumference, 9.5 (10, 10.75)” / 24 (25.5, 27) cm height (unfolded brim), Size 1 and 2 shown in the pattern
Needles: US 4 / 3.50 mm circular needles (24” / 60 cm long and a longer one to work magic loop easily or a set of DPNs); or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle, 5 stitch markers (a unique one for beginning of the round)
Gauge: 22 sts x 38 rounds in 3/3 Check stitch = 4’’ / 10 cm square, steam blocked

Construction Notes:
Disco Ball is worked in the round, bottom-up. Constructed with 3/3 Check stitch worked with only knits and purls. Crown is divided into 4 sections with 3-stitch knit columns. Stitches are decreased following these columns in every two rounds, while continuing to work Check stitch towards the top in between the knit columns.
