MC – 1 ball 6636 Taupe
CC – 1 ball 6663 Brick Road
Note: two balls of yarn is enough to make two hats with given charts if MC and CC are swapped for second hat.
Needles
Circular knitting needle (16”) and double pointed needles (dpn) in size US 5 (3.75 mm) or size to obtain gauge.
Circular knitting needle (16”) in size US 3 (3.25 mm) for rib

Gauge
30 sts and 32 rnds = 4” in Fair Isle St st with larger needles, blocked. Take time to save time, check your gauge.
Correction, pointed out by another Raveler:
On the top charts there is a symbol on the right side of the grey “no stitch” boxes. It looks like a ^ with a third leg coming down the center. It symbolizes a sk2p decrease, which goes like this:
S2kp: slip 2 sts together knitwise from the LH needle to the RH needle, k1, pass 2 slipped sts over knit st (2 sts decreased).
On the photos, the s2kp decrease makes the line of raised V’s that travel up the crown of the hat and meet in the center.
