Docklines Shawl
Pattern and Kits go live Friday, February, 20th at www.northbayfiber.com
Designed by Jill Zielinski /@knitterella for North Bay Fiber
Docklines Shawl is a top-down triangle shawl. It is a relaxing knit with bold graphic impact. Knit in three colors of North Bay Fiber Bay Blend DK (70% alpaca, 30% Targhee-Polypay wool), the fabric is light, drapey, and beautifully soft. Simple stockinette with rows of purl stripes grow from the center spine, creating striking lines that completely transform with your color choices. The shawl is finished with a generous 2x2 ribbed border for structure and polish. Written for three sizes — Small, Medium, and Large — so you can choose your perfect scale.

NOTES
• Shawl begins with a Garter Tab Cast-on and is worked flat
from the top down.
• After Set-Up Row, shawl increases by 4 sts every RS row.
• A 3-st garter stitch edging is kept throughout, with a slipped stitch edge.
• A needle one size larger than Gauge Needle is recommended
for Bind-off.
• Shawl may be customized to your preferred size by adding
or subtracting repeats of either the 3-color or 2-color
stripe sequence.
• Shawl is written for Small size with Medium and Large sizes in
parentheses. When one number is listed, it applies to all sizes.
• For a looser more stretchy edge, bind off with a needle one size bigger than gauge needle.
