A note on sizing -- its probably best to pick your size from the finished back measurements: 16 1/2”, 17 1/2”, 19”, 20”, 21 1/2”, 23” (this is taken by measuring straight across the back at the underarms.) The sweater is very stretchy and can close in the front if you would prefer, but it was designed to hang open a few inches.

In addition to the brocade, the sweater could also be done in simple stockinette or seed stitch, depending on how casual or formal you wanted it to be. The sleeves can also be altered to end just past the elbow for all of you southern gals that actually get triple digits in the summer :)

I can’t wait to see everyone’s take on this -- I loved designing it and I hope everyone likes making and wearing it!
