Doily Wrap
Make a beautiful wrap out of doilies you’ve purchased or made yourself - a wonderful way to use new or heirloom doilies. The instructions tell you how to select the doilies, lay out the wrap (with sample diagrams), attach the doilies to each other, and crochet a border with beads and dangles. No instructions for doilies are included.
Materials required:
• Doilies of various sizes in a harmonious color scheme. The sample pictured uses 8 doilies between 6” (15 cm) and 21” (53 cm) in diameter. Note: The number of doilies you need depends on the size of the doilies and the size of the wrap that you want to make.
• Approximately 300 yards (274 meters) of cotton crochet thread in a complimentary size and color to the doilies;
• Approximately 275 small beads in matching colors with a center hole large enough to fit easily onto the crochet thread.
