• 1 1/2 oz (42 gm) #2 Fine Weight Yarn – we used Premier Serenity Garden Yarn, color DN800 (Gems)
• Boye® size F (3.75 mm) hook, or size required to obtain gauge
• Yarn Needle
• Stitch Markers
• For Hat (optional): small sew on appliqué
Note: To minimize blocks of solid color when making small items out of multi-color yarn, divide the skein into two balls of equal size. Work two rows with one ball and then two rows with the second ball.
