Doncaster Stole
Doncaster Stole takes its name from a beautiful park and river in Quebec. The park and its namesake stole are covered in leaves and flowers. Starting with a provisional cast-on, the middle section of the stole - featuring a simple eyelet design - is worked first. The flower and leafy stem are worked after the middle section. The second flower section is worked just like the first one, by picking up stitches from the provisional cast-on.
Instructions to adapt the pattern in length and width are given. Gauge is not crucial and the stole can be made with any yarn.
Difficulty: Intermediate (provisional cast-on, lace pattern worked on both sides)
