Pay What Works: In an effort to find a balance between more financial accessibility and sustainable pricing, I now offer a “Pay What Works” model (Thank you ArohaKnits for developing this model). This allows for financial flexibility while still valuing and respecting the work and energy I and others provide in the making of this pattern. The price shown on Ravelry is the “true” value of the pattern that best reflects the work put into creating this design.
To purchase the pattern at a price point that is more accessible to you, use the coupon code at checkout listed next to the price point. The prices indicate the price you will pay, not the discount amount. No coupon code is needed for the highest price point.
PWW1 - $6.00
PWW2 - $7.20
PWW3 - $9.60
NO CODE - $12.00
Special thanks and appreciation to my brilliant model, the Dr. Diane White-Clayton, and to my Tech Editor, Melissa Metzbower!
PATTERN INFO:
This cowl was inspired by the warrior tabards worn by the team of women who serve as the special forces for the fictional African nation of Wakanda, the Dora Milaje. They are the best and strongest of their people. Well-versed in martial arts, weaponry, and diplomacy, these women are a force to be feared and admired.
The cowl starts with a square motif, and chevrons are worked on two sides of the center pattern. Using a single skein of fingering wt yarn, the ends are joined by a decorative
button. It can be worn with the motif in the front or in the back of the neck.
