Crochet PATTERN for Dori’s Diamond Hat - in customizable sizing - Toddler - Child - Adult

This hat is an original and unique pattern! I created this hat pattern for my friend Dori who wanted a fun, but warm hat to wear around her farm as she checked on her cows.

This is a diamond stitch slouch style hat with ear flaps to keep those cheeks and ears warm! Braided ties add some more charm to this winter hat. Crocheted in wool or other worsted weight yarn, it is extremely soft, light, and warm!

This crochet hat pattern is written in adult size, but can be made to fit any size. The pattern includes instructions on how to easily alter the size of the finished hat.

SIZE:
20.5” circumference (plus some stretch), 11” tall.

SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate - you need some crochet experience.

TERMINOLOGY:
This pattern is written in American Crochet Terms

MATERIALS NEEDED:
You’ll need a H and J crochet hooks and your favorite worsted weight yarn.
I created it using worsted weight merino wool from Mountain Meadow Wool. http://www.mountainmeadowwool.com/yarns, but it will be beautiful crocheted in any worsted weight yarn.
