The hat is worked from the bottom up and also utilizes two very different fibers, adding yet another dimension of contrast. Detailed instructions are included for making pom pom, if desired. Hat is shown in size Child on my smallish head with approximately 2.5” negative ease; recommended ease is 2-3”/5-7.5 cm smaller than actual head circumference and general age labels are provided from preemie to giant noggin. Pattern is written for knitters ready to tackle a higher level of stranded colorwork; stitch pattern is both written and charted. Be sure to view the entire Dottie Collection.
