Who doesn’t love to work on a cheerful project on dull and grey winter days? This scarf with its easy to memorise pattern can be worked with as many colours as desired and makes a great stash-busting project for small amounts of yarn left over from other projects.

This tube scarf is worked in the round using stranded knitting. The colour changes for the dot motif and the background colour take place in different rounds to create the most playful look. For the same reason the colours for our sample were chosen at random and are not worked in a repeating sequence. Should you wish to recreate the scarf shown, there is a table provided with the order of the colours at the end of the pattern. The ends are embellished with a multicoloured pompom, optional.

Note that on rnds where a new background colour is introduced you will be stranding three colours on the same rnd.
