Double Breasted Cabled Jacket
The pattern calls for Brunswick Thistledown yarn. It notes that Brunswick Brigitte Angora is interchangeable.
This cardigan has an open V neckline, not actually a v-neck, crosses over for double-breasted closure at the waist, and buttons from the waist down. There are 4 simple eyelet buttonholes.
Gauge for the Cable Panel: 17 sts = 3 1/4 in.
The crochet hook is described as aluminum hook #9 (6.0 mm, size I). Currently, 6.0 mm is size J. The hook is used to do a single crochet edging around the body and neckline.
There is positive ease of between 1.5” and 2.5” depending on the size.
