This reversible, and optionally beaded, scarf uses a pattern that matches the butterfly raglan sweater. However, the ends of the scarf are knit using a completely reversible version of the butterfly stitch pattern. I have not seen this pattern variation elsewhere.

The pictured scarf is beaded. The number of repeats at the edges was determined by the number of beads that remained after the sweater was completed; the width is 6 inches and length 42 inches unblocked, and consumed 242 yards of Tess’ Designer Yarns Silk and Ivory.
