This garment is fun to crochet, as it’s made in just two pieces, worked from their centers… which become the underarms… and folded into shape before slip stitching the two seams.

Specific directions are given for 2 sizes, which will fit most adults. But the modification for larger or smaller sizes is very simple, and explained at the end of the pattern. In this way, an infinite number of sizes is possible. The author has actually also made this in infant and child sizes, by following the modification instruction.

You’ll need 4 skeins of Main Color and 2 of Contrast color for the smaller size; 6 of Main Color and 3 of Contrast Color for the larger size. Each additionally larger size will require about 1 additional skein of MC.
In addition to yarn and hook, you’ll need 4 removable stitch markers, a yarn needle for weaving in the tails at the end, and of course, scissors.
