The name “Double-up” is a description for how the cowl is made, since it uses two pegs for one stitch to create a very large gauge stitch pattern.

This 1/2” gauge CinDWood 6” Hat/Scarf Combo Loom and one strand of Red Heart Bouquet Twilight super bulky yarn was use until only 24 inches of yarn remained which was used for the bind off. The cowl is made from side-to-side, grafting the BO to the CO edge to create a 58 inch circumference cowl.

Any knitting board with 12 sets of pegs (total of 24-pegs) could be used.
