A Rowan classic from the 1990s, this poncho is really easy-to-knit and just as easy-to-wear. It is worked in one long piece and has a broad moss stitch border and a soft cowl-style polo neck. Like all large pieces of knitting, it benefits from being knitted in a springy pure wool yarn that hold its shape well; in this case it is Rowan Felted Tweed DK. The design has be re-worked in current yarn Rowan Tweed.
