FAQ - Knitting the sweater without the use of double knitting
Though it has not been tested, it should be possible to knit this sweater with stranded colorwork. You will either have to steek the arms or do purled colorwork. Please keep in mind that in most cases gauge for double knitting is quite different than stranded knitting, so check your gauge before determining which size you want to knit!
Pattern Errata -
On page 4 of the pattern, in the paragraph beginning with “Once you have finished knitting all arm rows” it should state “slip live arm stitch pairs” instead of “live arm stitches”
It has been recommended by a few people that the provisional cast at the beginning of both arms be done separately for each side for the first row, then joined for the second row to prevent twisted stitches.
