This hat was inspired by two parents who love dragons and had a little one on the way. When I showed my friends the hat I had made for their little one, the father wanted to know if I could make one for him and as a result the pattern has instructions from newborn all the way up to large adult.
When I made the hats for the parents I took one colour from the baby’s hat and put that in the mothers hat with another colour (Purple) and I took the other colour from the baby’s hat for the father and put it with another colour (Black). Like DNA the baby’s hat had a colour from the mother’s hat and a colour from the father’s hat.
