Dragonfly Dreams
Splash of Color Yarns was my choice for the Dragonfly Dreams socks. Lisa is the fiber artist behind it and her yarns are colorful! I met her at the Washtenaw Fiber Fair and just fell in love with all of the colors. You can find them here: https://splashofcoloryarns.com/
“I got inspired to dye yarn when my husband asked for fingerless camouflage mitts for hunting. When I couldn’t find any yarns that were not acrylic, I started watching YouTube videos and tried dyeing with Easter egg pellets. Once I saw the dye start to bubble up and attach to the yarn, I was HOOKED!”—Lisa
I wanted a lovely spring color for this sock that would show off the stitches very well. Dragonfly Dreams was the perfect choice I think!
It’s knit from cuff to toe with a slip twisted stitches which I call “twilling”. Do you see the hearts? Written instructions are included.
This is a FUN sock!
