This pattern has been designed for the purpose of raising funds to support CAST ON TO CAST-OFF FOR CHEMO. This organization was started by several knitters, including Linda Krag, the owner/CEO of Denise Interchangeable Needles and Cat Bordhi, to help raise funds for Dr. David Krag, who is working to find a cure for breast cancer using patients’ own antibodies to combat their disease – and eliminate the need for chemotherapy.
The current goal is to raise $1,000,000, by the end of October, 2015. To help raise these needed funds, Skacel has become a Platinum Sponsor of this organization.
