The Drea cardigan is a fitted cardigan with a customisable neckline - wear it as a high neck or collar based on your mood. The cardigan fits close to your body, with optional waist decreases to create shape without being skin-tight.

My favourite way is to wear it with the collar down and closing just 2-3 buttons at the top. Depending on the fibre and yarn weight chosen, knit anything from a spring layering piece to a semi-structured jacket.

This cardigan is designed to have 2-4”/ 5-10cm of ease at the bust, which means the finished garment will be 2-4”/ 5-10cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

The Drea cardigan is worked top down with a contiguous yoke construction. The Back will be worked flat, with short rows shaping. On each side, the Shoulders are started by picking up stitches from the Back, with increases to shape the neckline. The yoke joins all panels, and sleeves are started by picking up stitches along the side of Shoulders. The rest of the yoke and body is worked flat. At the underarm, sleeve stitches will be placed on hold. Sleeves are worked in the round. Collar is worked by picking up stitches along the neckline.
