Dream in Danish Throw Pillow
When knitting first took hold in Scandinavia, families in Denmark would generally have a sweater piece for each member. Back then, throw away culture was unheard of; the zero-waste lifestyle was everyday life. Once a family member had outgrown a sweater, it would be passed down. When it became too worn out to wear, it was fashioned into pillow covers or blankets.
This simple knit and purl piece is so easy that you’ll want to craft one for each of your family members.
