Dreamer's Path Wrap
As featured in Crochet Now magazine issue 70! Inspired by the beautiful landscapes and rock formations of the Bisti badlands, De-Na-Zin Wilderness, and Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah Wilderness in northwest New Mexico, USA.
Wrap yourself in luxury with this beautifully weighted cotton wrap that will keep the chill away in any summer breeze.
Dreamer’s Path is worked in the immensely popular and addictive overlay mosaic crochet style. Each row is worked in only one color of yarn. Odd rows use main color (MC) yarn and even rows use contrast color (CC) yarn.
Yarn: dk weight (light, category 3).
You will need about 1,012 yards (935 m) of main color yarn (MC) that forms the raised zig-zag pattern and about 644 yards (595 m) of contrast color yarn (CC) that forms the darker background.
The sample wrap used Rowan Handknit Cotton yarn. This is a dk weight 100% cotton yarn with 92 yards (85 m) per 50-gram ball. 11 balls in Ice Water 239 (MC) and 7 balls in Atlantic RW346 (CC).
