DESCRIPTION
With snow in the air, we’re dreaming of spring. This is a sweet heirloom sweater that’s not machine washable, but extremely soft and a pleasure to knit. It’s made out of a super-soft baby alpaca.

TECHNIQUES USED
Must know how to knit and purl in round, work single increases and decreases, and be comfortable working with 2 colours. Will be working stranded knitting in 2 colours from charts, and corrugated 1x1 ribbing.

PATTERN NOTES
A yoke sweater worked in the round from the bottom up and in one piece in 6 colours with corrugated 1x1 rib edgings in 6 sizes. The baby sizes have an opening in the back, so the top of the yoke is worked back and forth to create a keyhole neckline. Baby sizes are marked with square brackets, children’s sizes in curly ones.

GAUGE
25.5 sts and 36 rnds to 4 inches/10 cm square in stocking stitch worked in the round.

To fit 3, 6, 12, 18-24 mo, {Child 2, Child 4]
Chest Circumference 18.5, 19.5, 20.5, 22.5, {23.5, 25.5}

NEEDLES
3.25 mm (US 3), or size to get gauge, dp and 40 cm circular needles 2.75 mm (US 2) dp needles for child-size neck rib
Crochet hook, 2.75 mm (US D – 2)
