Dreamy headband
Using this pattern, you can make two versions of the headband, one warmer and one lighter, fitting any head circumference. The headband is knitted in rounds, in one piece, and then sewn together using kitchener stitch.
SIZE:
ONE SIZE - the size of this headband can be easily adapted to fit any adult’s head circumference.
MEASUREMENTS:
- width: approx. 10 cm [4’’]
GAUGE:
Version 1: 20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4’’] in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US 6] needles in one strand of Midnatssol Camarose and one strand of Økologisk Hverdagsuld Camarose held together.
Version 2: 22 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4’’] in stockinette stitch on 4 mm [US 6] needles in two strands of Midnatssol Camarose held together.
NEEDLES:
Two sets of 4 mm [US 6] needles with 80 cm [32’’] cord.
YARN:
Version 1 (warmer): 1 ball of Midnatssol Camarose (54% baby alpaka, 10% merino wool, 36% lyocell; 25 g / 200 m [218 yds]) and 1 ball of Økologisk Hverdagsuld Camarose (100% organic wool, 50 g / 150 m [164 yds]).
Version 2 (lighter): 2 balls of Midnatssol Camarose (54% baby alpaka, 10% merino wool, 36% lyocell; 25 g / 200 m [218 yds]). Two strands of yarn held together.
NOTIONS:
Crochet hook, scrap yarn in contrasting color, marker, darning needle, scissors.
