Experience Level: advanced beginner
A cowl for the free-spirited. Drift is slouchy and soft, draping over the shoulders in a cloud-like fabric. Chunky weight yarn is used to make a quick, cozy cowl.
Construction Details
The Drift Cowl is worked sideways. Stitches are cast on provisionally, and shaping is made by working short row wedges along the bottom edge of the cowl. Once circumference is achieved, the stitches are grafted together using Kitchener Stitch. Video tutorials links are provided in the pattern for these techniques.
