Drusilla
Inspired by and fit for the most beautiful and most lunatic vampire to grace the small screen, Drusilla is a rectangular lace shawl based on an edging pattern I fell in love with very early in my knitting career, but never quite managed to find a use for, until now.
Not a vampire fan of any stripe? Skip the old-blood red and call it whatever you like!
Difficulty: intermediate. The pattern repeat isn’t too hard, once memorized, but the thin yarn and fine needles might frustrate a beginning lace knitter.
Both written and charted directions are included.
Many thanks to the lovely dnatheory for modeling for me!
