INTRODUCTION
This pattern invites you to knit a single piece that adapts to the wearer – to be wrapped closely at the wrist or worn elegantly at the neckline.
Drawing on the old rule of thumb for body measurements, ‘twice around the wrist equals once around the neck’, this versatile design allows you to wear the piece both as a bracelet and a choker/necklace.

This elegant piece of jewellery consists of a straight piece of knitting. Working on just 4 stitches, this is the perfect starter project for those wishing to learn how to create knitted wire/metal jewellery. You would ideally know the basics of knitting with yarn, e.g. how to cast on, work plain knit stitches and how to cast off.

Materials and Equipment needed:
Luxury 4mm crystal beads x 48 12 x 4 colours
Precious gemstones 4mm x 12
0.3mm/28-gauge enamelled copper jewellery wire reel
End components/fastenings – 8mm closed ring x 2, 14mm lobster clasp, 5mm open jump rings x 2, extender chain
2.75mm knitting needles
2 x flat nosed jewellery pliers to open and close jump rings
Sewing needle with eye large enough for wire
Wire cutter/snips/sharp scissors
Reel holder for wire (optional)
Beading mat (optional)

Crystals/beads
I use 4mm bicone crystal beads and 4mm precious beads in this pattern.
You can use Preciosa crystal beads, which are available in a variety of colours.

Precious gemstone beads can be purchased online at most beading stores.
