Duality Watch Cap
You get more than you might expect with this versatile slouchy hat. It’s knit with two yarns held together for a marled effect and an extra-warm fabric. The main color stays the same, and the second color is changed to go from darker to lighter to create a gradient. Wear it with the brim folded up, watch-cap style, or down, as a toque.
FINISHED SIZE
About 15 (17, 19)“ (38 43, 48.5 cm) circumference at brim, unstretched, and 11½ (11½, 11¾)” (29 29, 30 cm) tall with brim not folded.
To fit 18 (20¼, 22½)“ (45.5 51.5, 57 cm) head circumference.
Hat shown in 15” (38 cm) size.

Shown here: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine (50% Peruvian wool, 30% nylon,
20% superfine alpaca; 433 yd 396 m/100 g): #1234 cardinal (MC), #1207 salt & pepper (CC1), #1209 moonshadow (CC2), and #1201 winter white (CC3), 1 skein each.
NOTES
This slouchy folded brim beanie is worked with two strands of yarn held together for a marled effect, while at the same time the background color is gradually changed to create a gradient effect.
The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up.
