DUCK GALLERY is a quirky and versatile pattern made using basic overlay mosaic crochet techniques. Use the pattern to make a blanket for a baby, toddler or just for someone who likes ducks!

DUCK GALLERY consists of the “Duck Gallery” Panel and “Duck Weed” Border. It can therefore be used in any combination and also stacked with other mosaic crochet pattern strips from Craft Pixie. Have a look at Fish Tails, Frog Chorus and Perching Owls.

The pattern uses basic Overlay Mosaic Crochet techniques.
This pattern is considered to be an “intermediate” project, as it does involve some colour changing for wings and beak. However, this is all described and annotated with step-by-step photos, so should be relatively straight forward.

• 5 x 100g skeins of background colour (cream).
• 2 x 100g skeins of duck body colour colour (dark teal).
• 1 x 100g skein of weed roots colour (khaki).
• 1 x 100g skein of weed leaves colour (light green).
• 1 x 100g skein of feet/beak colour (gold).
• 1 x 100g skein of wing/head/tail colour (sage).
• 1 x 100g skein of eye colour (brown).
• 5.0 mm hook for the blanket, 4.5 mm hook for the edging.
