This camouflage in Duck Huntin’ Sue’s vest is created by the self-patterning Uptown Worsted Tapestry. It’s perfect whether you’re an animal lover who just wants to watch mallards on a mild day, or for a hunting enthusiast you may know. What’s a vest this special without a companion, though? That’s where our delightful duck comes in! As perfect for cuddling as it is for your retriever (that is if he or she won’t rip it to shreds), you’ll love creating this campy project. Grab your hooks and get started as quack as you can!

The Duck Huntin’ Sue vest is worked flat from the bottom up. The fronts and back are separated at the armhole. The body of garment is crochet, but the neckband and edging are knit. Pockets are applied to the body during finishing.
