Dueinuno Beanie
What is special about this beanie?
First, thanks to the techniques used, both sides are perfectly finished so you can always decide to wear it indifferently on one or the other side depending on your mood of the moment. Hence its name “Dueinuno”, which in Italian means two-in-one.
In addition, simply by just changing the number of rounds per color, you will create two very different versions of the beanie using the same simple pattern.
Of course, along the way, there are some small different “tricks” to be able to obtain this special feature of both sides perfectly finished even with all color changes.
A very simple technique is used to avoid jogs when changing colors and type of stitches while the threads are never cut but carefully carried up remaining hidden.
The pattern instructions go together with video tutorials supporting all the different techniques used.
The result is that with these pattern instructions you can get four different beanies!
Construction
“Dueinuno beanie” is knitted from bottom up in the round and it is completely seamless.
It starts with a purled fold over hem to continue using a textured stitch pattern which involves two different colors of yarn so a perfect pattern for those who love playing with colors!
